Today we are going to be showing you how to replace headlight bulbs on a Toyota sienna. We will be showing you how to replace the high and low beam bulbs on this 2014 Toyota Sienna.
To start we’ll pull the hood release and get the hood open and propped up. For the Low beam bulb you will need an H11 and for the high beam it will be a 9005. Amazon does sell them together 9005 & H11
Next we can put some clean gloves on to ensure that we don’t get any oils onto the bulb filament/ glass as it will reduce the life of the bulb.
Once we have gloves on we’ll start with replacing the 9005 high beam bulb on the drivers side, we’ll press down on the clip on the wiring going to the bulb so we can remove it.
With the wiring removed we can grab the back plastic side of the bulb and rotate it towards the drivers side to remove it.
Next we can grab the new 9005 high beam bulb on the back plastic part of the bulb. Well align the tabs on the bulb and the headlight housing and slide it in. Once the bulb is in we can rotate it towards the passenger side. The way the arrow is on the housing.
With the new bulb installed we can reconnect the wiring to the bulb. Just align it and slide it on making sure we hear the click sound so we know it’s locked on. It’s a good idea to give it a little wiggle to ensure that it’s really locked on.
Now that we have the high beam replaced we can move onto replacing the drivers side low beam.
We’ll depress the clip and wiggle off and undo the wiring going to the low beam bulb.
With the wiring removed, we’ll grab the back plastic part of the bulb and rotate it towards the driver side and slide the bulb out of the housing to remove it.
Next we can grab the new H11 low beam bulb, align the tabs on the bulb with the housing and slide the new bulb into the housing.
Once the bulb is in the housing we can rotate the bulb towards the passengers side to clip it in.
With the new bulb installed into the housing we can align and reconnect the wiring to the back side of the bulb. Give it a wiggle to ensure it’s really clipped back on.
Now that we have completed the driver’s side replacing the high and low beam bulbs we’ll repeat the same steps to get both the high and low beam replaced on the passenger side.
With the passenger side high and low beam replaced that’s it we have just shown you how to replace headlight bulbs on a Toyota Sienna.
